DC Urban Oasis is a hospitality studio and platform curating dining and cocktail gatherings and boutique stays. We create elevated occasions where you discover new flavors and connections—whether around the table or settling into one of our thoughtfully designed spaces.​ We use food, drink, and hospitality as reasons to gather, share, and discover what's possible when we nourish one another.

JAE Henderson

Jae is an entrepreneur, technologist, and former spirits executive working at the intersection of hospitality, technology, and culture. With over 15 years of experience building products and platforms, he has launched award-winning spirits brands and a Webby-nominated data platform. The brands he has built have been featured in 300+ retailers, including Whole Foods, as well as in Travel+Leisure, USA Today, and Forbes.

Lajuanda M. Asemota

Lajuanda is an award-winning executive passionate about the shared histories of global foodways. With a 20-year career spanning education, technology, media, she spent over a decade specializing in crafting meaningful experiences through hospitality and live event production. Her work has been featured in Forbes and Silicon Valley’s 40 Under 40 Tech Diversity.

    Event Operations Coordinator

    Deborah Yeboah is an event operations professional passionate about creating carefully crafted experiences that bring people together. A Cornell alum, with a finance background in equity research at Wells Fargo and hands-on experience supporting nonprofit initiatives, private dinners, and executive business events, she brings both strategic rigor and operational excellence to her work creating moments that resonate.
