The DC Supper Club: men’s supper club edition ft. Chef Bevon Wilcox

The Men’s Supper Club is an intimate supper club created for men to slow the pace and create space for the experiences we don’t always have an opportunity to talk about.

The evening begins with a guided whiskey education and tasting experience, inviting guests to explore the craft behind the spirit and discover something new together. From there, we will share a multi-course dinner by Chef Bevon Wilcox, currently a chef at Dōgon by Kwame Onwuachi, featuring his signature style of New American food through the lens of the Black Diaspora.

Throughout the meal, a curated conversation will explore the experiences that shape men’s lives—from responsibility and relationships to health, joy, and what it means to show up for ourselves and one another.

This isn’t a panel or networking event. It’s a few unhurried hours to eat well and enjoy genuine fellowship with other men.

ABOUT THE CHEF
Chef Bevon Wilcox is a DC-based chef whose cooking draws from a personal connection to food and the stories behind it. From his father’s home-cooked meals in Delaware to formal training in Philadelphia, his path has been shaped by family and culture.

Chef Bevon went on to sharpen his skills in some of DC’s most celebrated kitchens, including Kith & Kin and Dōgon by Chef Kwame Onwuachi, where he currently serves as Sous Chef, developing his signature style of New American cooking through the lens of the Black Diaspora.

Beyond the restaurant kitchen, Chef Bevon is the creator of local pop-up Sundays at Bev’s, where he draws on the food he grew up with and influences from across the Diaspora to examine the history, movement, and evolution of Black foodways.
